These mountains are breathtaking... Spring/early summer tour is the very best time of the year to go there, as the late Spring snows should have melted on the high mountain tops and there will be many wonderful wild flowers everywhere in the valleys below. The hiking is really wonderful and very varied, as the mountains, gorges and valleys change a lot as you pass through the area.
