Cancellation In the event of your having to cancel a booking we will require notification in writing and we will then make an effort to re-let. If we do so you will have no further payment to make, but if we are unable to let you will be responsible for the balance of the rent. Most insurance companies will cover this sort of risk. We regret that we cannot refund money if you decide to cut short your holiday. Tenant’s Obligations To pay for any extra basket of wood (big cottage only) before departure. To notify us as soon as possible of any loss or damage to the property or fittings and to pay for these, reasonable wear and tear excepted, before departure. To take good care of the property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition. To permit the proprietors reasonable access to the property. Not to part with possession or to share possession of the property during the tenancy. Not to cause annoyance to neighbours i.e. with loud radios etc.

Dogs   Conditions on accepting dogs are, that they are not allowed into bedrooms or on furniture, they are not left in the cottage unattended and they do not interfere with livestock. Booking signifies acceptance.     Limit of Liability   The proprietors shall not be liable for the death or injury sustained by or occasioned to any person staying at the cottage or guests of people staying at the cottages unless caused by negligence of the proprietors. Tenants shall take all reasonable steps to secure and safeguard their property including motor vehicles an their contents. The proprietors shall not be liable for loss or damage, direct or indirect, to tenants’ property including motor vehicles and their contents during the tenancy unless caused by negligence of the proprietors. The proprietors reserve the right to terminate the tenancy if the terms of the tenancy agreement are not kept or for any other good and sufficient reason. In such cases, the refund of the outstanding rental shall be deemed to discharge all liability of the proprietor to the tenant.
