Business Terms

The full cost includes electricity but not fuel for the open fire. The deposit is required to confirm your reservation and will be deducted from the full cost.  The latter is payable not less than 28 days before the start of your holiday.  If we do not receive it we will treat your reservation as cancelled.  If you are making a reservation within six weeks of the start of your holiday we require payment of the full cost immediately.

There is no smoking in the cottage and we regret that we do not accept pets.

We provide bed linen but please bring your own towels and tea towels.  If you stay for more than one week we will provide clean bed linen on a Friday.  If you would like to stay for less than a week please enquire, although it is unlikely we can help during the main summer period.

The person making the reservation must be over 25 years old.  The cottage will be available from 3.00pm on your arrival day and must be vacant by 10.00am on your departure day.  We expect you to leave it in a tidy condition and to advise our property manager of any damage or breakages.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made in writing, by email or post, and we will acknowledge their receipt. If you cancel more than 28 days before your arrival date we will refund all that you have paid us, except your deposit, which is non-returnable.  If you cancel 28 days or less before your arrival the full amount will be retained, unless we re-let the cottage. In this case we will make a refund at our discretion.

Reservations

To make a reservation please send an email giving your required dates to john.horobin@TheCuddyPorthleven.co.uk.  We keep the availability table as up to date as we can but there is always the possibility that someone else has just made a reservation for the dates you require.  If you have any flexibility please give us alternative dates.  We will acknowledge receipt of your email and send you a booking form to complete and post back to us with your cheque.  In the meantime we will keep your reservation for you for seven days.  We regret that we cannot accept credit or debit cards.  We will confirm your reservation once we receive your payment and will provide you with full access details and other information once you have paid your final balance.  We hope our web site has provided all the information your need about The Cuddy but if we can help further please do not hesitate to email us or phone on 07766 525145.
