The Old Sail Loft Restaurant
One of the oldest buildings in Looe, known to date back over 450 years and reputed to be a haunt for smugglers, now gently refurbished and modernised by chef proprietor Dominic and wife Michelle. Pengelly's Fishmongers
For 50 years a family tradition (now stocking local veg too!) Angie and Jackie Pengelly are descendents of a long line of fishermen and boat owners. Their grandfather, Jack, set up the business and his predecessors sold fish from a horse and cart around the Looe area. This family clearly know what they're talking about when it comes to seafood. All the wet fish on the counter in Pengelly's is local, except salmon when out of season, and is referred to as 'day caught fish'. Angie explains, "Looe has a harbour that dries out at low tide so no beam trawlers or large boats can use it. The small local fleet have to get in and out as quickly as the tide will allow and therefore the fish is exceptionally fresh."

Cornish Orchards
Cornish Orchards produces quality hand crafted apple juices and ciders using the harvests of small and old orchards throughout the West Country. We started this activity in 1999, as a diversification of Westnorth Manor Farm (part of the Duloe Manor Estate owned and stewarded by the Duchy of Cornwall). Our products contain no preservatives or colouring. Some varieties of juice represent our 'core' products, whilst others change season on season depending on harvest quality and quantity.
